Stronger Teams, Greater Success!

Healthy HR exists to create workplaces where people and businesses thrive together. We do this by helping leaders build strong, supportive cultures – rooted in open conversations, clear people processes and practical HR support.

We’re here to make the complex feel simple, and the difficult feel doable.

It’s about people. Always has been.

About

No jargon. No grey suits. Just straight-talking support from people who genuinely care about helping you build a business that works for everyone.

We’re a small but mighty team of HR professionals based across the UK, united by a love for doing HR in a more human way.

The people behind the people stuff

Yasmin is a people-first HR specialist with over a decade of experience supporting UK businesses. After founding Healthy HR in 2019, she’s grown it into an award-winning consultancy known for its empathetic, straight-talking approach. She also sits on Employment Tribunal panels and supports others living with MS through her charity work. Her mission? Making people management simple, human, and impactful.

Yasmin Neves

Rachel Thomas

I’ve worked in HR for over eight years, mainly in the Civil Service, with a focus on partnering, recruitment, and development. I’ve also supported teams at Welsh Water and Cardiff University.

Now I combine HR and coaching to help clients boost wellbeing and find better balance. Outside work, I’m all about family time, coastal walks, mountain hikes, and the occasional gym session.

Sam Baker

I’m Sam, an experienced HR professional with over 20 years in sectors including retail, education, tech, and real estate. I’m passionate about what makes businesses tick and creating workplaces where people truly thrive. Originally from Suffolk, I now live in North East Somerset with my husband and love bringing a people-first approach to every organisation I support.

Kanak Kapoor

Hi, I’m Kanak – an HR and Business Administrator with an MSc in International Human Resource Management and CIPD Level 7. I’ve worked across talent acquisition, learning and development, and the behind-the-scenes admin that keeps businesses running smoothly. I’m the go-to for organising, fixing, and figuring things out. I’m passionate about making HR feel simple and human. Outside work, I love crocheting, hanging out with my cat, and eating tacos.

Becky Horbury

I’m an experienced HR professional with over ten years’ experience across a wide range of sectors. My approach is calm, methodical, and grounded in the detail particularly when supporting sensitive or complex people issues. I work closely with businesses of all sizes, offering practical, tailored HR support that brings clarity and confidence.

For me, it’s all about helping teams feel supported, understood, and set up to thrive.

Robyn Yensen

Hi, I’m Robyn — an experienced HR Advisor passionate about creating environments where teams feel genuinely supported to thrive.

With 8 years of people experience across FMCG, Engineering, Aviation and Retail sectors, I take a holistic approach to HR support, focusing on the people, not just on processes and aim to bring a blend of empathy and practical advice to every conversation.

Outside of work I'm usually pottering around the garden with my cat or getting lost in writing poetry, both help to keep me inspired everyday.

No jargon, no grey suits – just real, straight-talking support from a team who genuinely love what they do.

MEET THE TEAM

We’re a small but mighty team of HR professionals who care deeply about people.

Hi, I’m Yasmin, owner of Healthy HR and a people-first HR specialist with over a decade of experience supporting UK businesses. I started Healthy HR in 2019 to bring a more human, straight-talking approach to people management and it’s since grown into an award-winning consultancy.

I also sit on Employment Tribunal panels and support others living with MS through my charity work. My mission? To make people management simple, human, and impactful.

Yasmin Neves

Healthy HR was founded by Yasmin Neves – a people person through and through – who wanted to make HR feel less like a minefield and more like a meaningful part of growing a great business.

After being diagnosed with multiple sclerosis (MS) in 2018, Yasmin took a deeper dive into how our bodies and minds respond to pressure, and how important it is to feel supported at work. That experience shaped how Healthy HR shows up today: with empathy, with energy, and with a genuine passion for doing things differently.

What started as a one-woman consultancy has grown into a people-first team working across the UK. We believe culture is built in the everyday. That honest conversations lead to better outcomes. And that doing the right thing by your people doesn’t have to be complicated.
